Apart from one little squeak that drove me over the edge that has been there since new...
Yep, wedging paper made it go away.
It performed flawlessly again. Two down, one more to go for the year.

I just saw the speedo and thought 160 MPH in a Fiesta would be a HELL of a lot of fun.

I know of people who have had them up to 140, and apparently they are pretty stable. I’ve had it above .... and it’s amazingly stable.

Get a Shelby Super Snake to clear the air for you and yeah, 140+ is pretty rock steady in a FiST...Not that I would know anything about doing this in the state of montana....

I know of a Kona Blue one that has done 115 down Monteagle Pass in TennMexico. Felt like normal interstate speed, I mean the owner said it felt like interstate speed.

Little squeak bugging you? You should not drive my Mini. Everything rattles.

What kind of plastic makes that noise?

The rubber hood over the bezel.

It’s not plastic in these? Interesting. I have only been in a Fiesta once and I was more focused on figuring out how clutches work than what it was made of.

The part on top of the paper is some soft touch rubber, the bottom is hard plastic.
